Happy Holidays!

We've got our Christmas lights up on the house (picture below). We have the Christmas tree up. We have almost all the presents bought and wrapped. So needless to say, we've been pretty busy (or at least Chrissy has been pretty busy). The first semester of school is wrapping up (about 7 school days left). And dexter got a new haircut!

Finally a New Update!

Finally decided to update this blog that nobody reads. Not too much excitement around the Paxton household. Joe is back to work at EHMS and Chrissy is working hard at Delta. Since the last update, we've been to a couple of weddings (Adam and Ashley, Josh and Erin). Chrissy's parents have been here a few times from Texas, once due to a hurricane evacuation, once due to hunting season. We have also helped with a couple of moves. Dan and Stacey to Texas, Michelle and Scott from their old house to a rented house until their new house gets built. Joe has been visiting Michelle and Scott's new house frequently to see the house as it gets built. He is really amazed at how someone can build something like that and how quick it gets built. Chrissy has been busy getting Christmas presents bought. Amazingly, she is very close to finished and it's not even Thanksgiving yet. Dexter has been up to his normal playful self. He will be getting a haircut very soon.

THIS WEEK:
Been watching Bryce and Kynsey some this week. We have 2 Thanksgiving Dinners on Thursday (YUMMY). Probably gonna put up Christmas Lights over the holiday weekend if the weather cooperates. Then hopefully watch the Colts beat up the Browns!

Another fair week has come and gone...

And another Hancock County Fair week has come and gone. We are pretty much exhausted from the week. Friday night Chrissy helped with the foods auction. Saturday we sold sweet corn in the morning and during the night was the Queen Contest where Joe was asked to video. Sunday was the parade where we both were involved some. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday we just hung out at the fair during the evenings. Thursday we worked in the Farm Bureau Dairy tent (Joe all day, Chrissy at night). Friday Joe had the livestock auction and Chrissy released projects. Bryce and Kynsey came over about 3 times this week to swim in the pool considering it was so dang hot all week. Overall it was a very tiring week.

Tomorrow (Saturday) seems to be pretty busy as well. Joe picking sweet corn in the morning, Chrissy and Patty selling it at the farmers market, while Joe and Joe help move the Farm Bureau Dairy Tent stuff from the fairgrounds. Then Joe is going to help his friend Dan pack up a semi for his move to Texas! Sunday of course is the Brooks and Dunn concert. Thats the updated version of what we've been up to.

Welcome and Happy 4th of July!

Welcome to our new official family blog. Also happy 4th of July. The wedding was absolutely incredible on June 7, 2008. The honeymoon was great in Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge Tennessee. And we are now busy trying to get settled down with getting gifts put away, writing thank you cards, and trying to find time to relax. Chrissy's busy trying to get her name switched on everything. Joe has been trying to keep himself busy during the summer.
